yeah i actually hate silk!
hey DID ya'll see that super bowl commerical long time ago w/the dude that runs up stairs and jumps on his wifes bed, and she has the silk sheets on it and he flys out da window!

Stay away from 03 & 04 if you can help it. In 05 they fixed the frame cracking problem, upgraded the suspension, bigger carb with throttle position sensor (To adjust ignition curve in relation to the throttle for better performance), different cams, and upgraded the clutch from 8 plate to 9. An 06 puts out 6.6 more horsepower stock. Might not seem like a whole lot, but when your dealing with 30 to begin with, that comes out to a 20% increase. The simple mods I've done to mine really opened it up.
You can still get an 06 for $4799 at troy city Only $1800 more for a brand new one!!!!!!!!!! They only have yellow lrft, and probably won't have those for much longer, then you'd have to order. Which may add $100 to the price.

I think that's about average. I know I've heard of them going about $2500 around here. And I could have gotten one for $1500 from this guy who got it back after it was stolen. Two punks stole it, then were going down the road full blast at night and hit a tree. It only had like 20 hours on it. i should look into that..cept i have no money or source of income...if i get a new quad it'll be a YFZ..those Z-400's rip tho
