I looked at it a while ago. I was quite impressed with it. Even the way that it mounts to the atv is slick.

The main time that I needed more downforce, was when we had 3"s of very wet snow. The snow kept building farther and farther in front of the blade. Then the blade wanted to start lifting. I helped the situation by tilting the blade way back, and spraying the blade with silicone spray.

With my plow, when I am pushing snow into an existing snowpile, my blade will tend to push the snow up higher on the pile, where the blackline will tend to push into it (sudden stop).

I would have loved to have a blackline, but because of the major price difference, I went with a Cycle Country.

FYI,

I bought a Blackline for my Ranger XP this year. Nothing but problems. Today it actually FELL OFF! A structural weld failed. Blackline had a cool concept, poor execution.
