sounds like you guys have fun too. We do all exterior walls 2x6 and interior walls 2x4.....and plumbing 2x6. oh.....and hallway walls(inbetween units).....2x6. One day.....in the morning I built a 115' wall.......it had like 8 windows and 2 doors in it too......this included sheeting and tyveking it......a lot of work for one guy, trust me.
Speaking of that.......how do you guys build your walls? We built them......and then squared them laying down and tacked them to the floor......then sheeted them.....and tyveked them........well........we did this on exteriior walls.......seems to make sheeting and tyveking a lot easier and looks nicer too. But it takes a lot of men to lift those walls too......it took 11 guys to lift one that we made.....and we just about didn't get it up.......had some big triple layered headers in it......I worry about the walls falling off the side of the building.....
Also.......we have a JCB lift.......it is a 4 wheeled machine.....that has a bucket or some forks on it.......and it lifts and extends 40'.;......it has front out riggers too. This thing makes stuff go about 10x faster.........IMO.......well worth their cost...

We frame square sheet tyvec siding and put the overhangs on.Anything we can put on the wall while laying down the less time on ladders. We fasten our walls to the deck with joist angles.Due to new codes we cant use them for joists anymore.
We use a skytrack 45ft boom all wheel drive.

sweet.......sounds like you do about the same as us...........we do the overhangs......on the gables.......etc.......but no siding.......we do only framing. When we pull out......the house is ready for tarpaper/shingles.......siding........and electrical/drywall......we do put in windows though.....pellas.....
