LOL, it's not illegal yet, but Nascar is working on something to prevent bumb drafting in the corners.

BTW, I am very happy about Chad Knaus getting the boot for a few weeks!

Not saying that there isn't some type of cheating going on in every garage, but think I would have picked something a little more hidden. When they drop those templates on, it sure makes it easy to spot anything wrong there.

N.A.S.C.A.R.= Not Any Stock Cars Are Racing. As far as Toyota or any other manufacturers coming in ,what difference does it make? Other than the cylinder block, cylinder head and front end sheet metal the rest of the cars are pretty much the same old aftermarket parts anyway. I know a lot of people who have converted over to Proffessional wrestling for some "real" excitement. I don't see why Nascar doesn't just combine in demolition derby rules and then they wouldn't have to penalize anyone for rough driving. Hey it's somewhat worked this way at Bristol for years now. Most people go hoping to see a crash anyway. I'm real suprised that the money hungry management of Nascar hasn't thought of this yet. I'll probably be kicking myself for not patenting the idea, but that's just the way it goes. After seeing the changes made by Nascar over the last 25 or so years it just isn't entertaining to me anymore.

It's one just like many others that have been changed over the years. Used to be that only RWD cars could be used. Then Nascar made a change to allow GM to use the Monte Carlo, which at that time was smaller and FWD. The cars on the track are not FWD, just based on production car body styles which are FWD in thier"stock" form. Ford and Dodge followed suit in the years to come with the Taurus and Intrepid respectively, which are both FWD production cars also. If you go back and research Nascar's history you will find they change the rules to please whom they please at any given time without warning. When they started making rule changes during the middle of the season several years ago, I had had enough and decided that I would no longer support them by buying tickets. Haven't had any regrets yet either.

LOL, yeah but now a days we have more than 4 people on the lead lap. Shoot, sometimes the leader would be 5 laps ahead of 2nd place back in the day, how has it gotten worse? There is a reason Nascar is the most popular motorsport in the world, and it sure as hell isn't because it is boring! If you don't understand it, your not going to enjoy.

I really think they will. DEI has finally got a lot of good people in the right places again, and there set there for at least a few years by contract. They also have a mental boost by bringing the #1 car back in driven by Truex JR., since that is the car that Earnhardt SR. started DEI with. And RCR has a great driver line up this year, and has dumped and BUNCH of money into there racing program. I think there will be a more diverse group of winners this year unlike in the last year or two with Hendrick and Rousch.

Did you guys here what Jr. said last week? He said by the end of his career he is going to drive for RCR in the #3 car!!!
