Did anybody watch Rick Russell's 4x4 Backcountry last night on the Outdoor Channel at 10:30pm. It's on every Wed. night at 10:30 on the Outdoor Channel it comes on right after South Park goes off on the comedy channel, thank goodness. Well last night he got out of the truck and went to Richfield Utah for the Rocky Mt jamboree on atvs. It was awesome, they showed good footage and alot of atvs! They have a website for more info www.sidekickoffroad.com, And what about those new Honda commercials with the people singing about stupid hurts, I saw two different ones during the show. I can't wait for the new atving show on the first of January to show it will be on the outdoor channel also, heck it was only a $1.50 a month for the channel.

He doesn't make the jump. But I have to give him high marks for effort.
You wouldn't see me jumping a $20,000 dollar quad like that.

I saw the Kangaroo on on world records tonight, good footage, but the jump should have replayed in slow-motion.

I can only get outdoor channel with digital cable or satalite here, not with regular cable. And both those other options cost a good bit more around here. I will be at my friends house when ATV TV starts airing!

Maybe if he wouldhave had some sand paper on that flatbed, for more traction, he could have made it. I was amazed he got up so fast.

Regarding the Kangaroo Kid's jump; he knew his takeoff run was too short, so he emplaced a flatbed trailer for a running downhill start. But he didn't realize he'd get wheelspin on the slick "aluminium" (U.K. pronunciation) bed? And he didn't realize (until after he crashed) his launch speed would be too low?

Stay tuned, he'll try it again, one hopes with better traction and a smoother landing.

"That's Entertainment." Which did you like best? The Kangaroo Kid, the sword swallower, or the snakes?

I want to know: Who's his orthopedist?
