Election (Waiting even longer)

An interesting tidbit. I heard on the radio that some lawyers dug up a court case from back in 1974 from the district appeals court in Florida that had a ruling on whether or not an election could be repeated on the basis that the ballots were "confusing" and could be misinterpreted. As it turns out the judge basically said that it was not lawful to re-do the election in order to make up for the mistakes/stupidity of a very small portion of the people who voted.
It seems that Gore and his cronies don't have a leg to stand on, legally.

You're so right, they don't have a leg to stand on. There will not be a revote. Gore is definitely going to screw up his chances of becoming president in 4 years. If Gore tries to push things past next Friday (date absentee ballots are to be counted by) I see this country getting involved like it never has before.
