I would like to start off by saying YES I own a Honda, and LOVE IT !! I'm sure almost every single one of feels this way about whatever kind of machine you own, even MAX's . I guess my point is that more and more there is so much BS going about how my machine is better than yours, or how mine machine can kick your machines A$$. I believe in the philosphy that every machine has their good and bad points, if you didn't like you wouldn't have bought it. Myself I like to leave the trash talk on the trail and come here to disuss whatever, with people just like me (people who like riding and talking about ATV's). With the group of people that I ride with everyone of us has got stuck, and when someone does, sure we razz them the rest of the day about it, but hey thats part of the whole experience, take turns getting pulled out and pulling people out. Their are all sorts of quads in our group, and yes I can attest that I HAVE SEEN A POLARIS GET STUCK ! I guess thats all I had to say.

Just my 2 cents
Brad

Why do you say all that, when clearly the Honda atc 110 with knobby tires is better than every other machine around?

Personally I don't think that bashing other brands is a bad thing, as long as the people involved do not resort to name calling, personal attacks, and at least have a few facts to back up their arguments. Its part of the fun of owning a different machine than your buddy. My two cents. Later Bob.

I cant stand bashing anybodys choice of quads, nor can I handle people BRAGGING about how more Superior their quad is than someone else's.If im on a trail ride and I see another fellow ATVer in need of help,am I to ride past him because I dont like the brand quad he's on?HELL NO.It is perfectly fine to debate differant quads, but the bashing has no place in my opionion.Bob,from reading your response,it sounds to me like you also meant to say debate instead of bashing.=====BILL

As long as you dont get vulgar and start insulting other people, alittle fussin back in forth between fourwheeler owners is just part of the game. I've seen my share of jokes about Timberwolfs. The trick is not to take'em personal. All you do is ride it, if someone is badmouthin your quad that dont mean your losing anything. But sometimes when somebody that drives a MAX bad mouthes your quad, then your expected to defend it.

Just messin with ya Max. lol

I think that bashing other peoples quads is a part of being an ATV rider, saying "what is that POS? Check my bad boy out". Its also a part of being a guy, having and being the bet of the best. But remember, it must have some good points if sombody has it and if a company like Hinda or Yamaha or Suzuki comes out withy it, it must be good in some sort of way. I love all ATVs and I think they are rock in their own little way.

Not inside bashers' heads, I don't know why they bash others' quads.

There may be many reasons.

I believe a large amount of bashing flows from insecurity and feelings of inferiority in the bashers.

A psychologist might call this "compensation;" a basher is unsure of his quad (and, truth be told, perhaps other things as well; we won't go there!); in compensation for his doubts and feelings of insecurity and inadequacy, he thinks he can elevate the status of his quad by bashing others.

Some clearly believe their personality is defined by the quad they ride. My advice in these cases: Buy something else! It's not working! The quad you're wearing is simply not YOU!

I think it has something to do with our age.
Young guys r bashing, older may like to debate.
