Why is European beers stronger than Canadian beers?
Besides, America has good ol' Corn Whiskey.

If I'm not mistaken, the alcohol level standard is different for the US. A European or Canadian beer, to be imported must meet these standards. So a foreign beer may have more alcohol in it's native country, but to meet our guidlines, the content is lowered.
If it weren't blocked here at work, I could do more alcohol content research. God knows, I done my part personally.

I love it.
Beer temp must drop when you open. I assume it is a pressure thing. Who hasn't opened a cold one only to have slush start foaming out of it. And then you are left with just alcohol in the bottom. Not always a bad thing.
I sure do love me some Molsen Ice.
