WHo has the latest ATV Sport magazine(not sure of the month, but a subscription it came earlier than retail), with the DS 650 review. If you do, the Polaris 400 picture and letter in the letters section is our very own A400L's quad. It has an extensive review, with comments on the excellent power and transmission as well. Just kidding, the letter was written by A400L himself (of course, its a letter section), but it does look sweet.

Who else has written a letter/sent pictures that got published?

Thanks RK. The printed/edited version was not exactly what I had in mind, but it works. I hope somebody was listening!

Peterson's 4WD, and Fourwheeler often do reader evaluations/reviews, I think that would be a great idea for the ATV mags to adopt, daily driver's, as they are reffered to. Let's see Joe Schmoe's '89 250R rather than Brand X's, that was built simply for the article, as so many of them seem to have been.

Case in point that Denton duner. "Hey Gary, build a 250 dunner and we'll do an article on it for you, O.K.?" What a crock of crap. Or that Hot Seat 400L, same issue mine was in and I would spank it up and down any drag strip. Oh yea, just to clarify something, my actual letter mentioned Ritter Cycle Racing and HPD in that order, Hot Seat was never mentioned!. They just built it, made a little donation to the mag, bang, instant advertisement with a good review, and they will probably make their "donation" over 10 fold.

I should've sent in the one of...here let me show you guys...

FYI: thats a 310R in front (Witz), and the R's behind me were all slightly modified (Rage,Catastrophie, and B250R).

A400L,
Nice picture!!! Your movin out! Where was it taken? Im going to have to show that to a few of my friends who own 400's!! I also agree with you on the issue 0f magazine coverage. They should devote at least 2 pages to every issue, with an annual "REaders Ride" issue.

Keep Kickin up dust,

RoostKing

Silver Lake, MI. (7/99). There were quite a few guys/gals from the chat room there on a group ride. B370 is sort'of the guy who set it all up. A few of us went back up in Sept. Plans are being made for another ride in July (around the 7th I think). Stop by in the chat room if your ever bored.

RoostKing,

The magazines should devote more pages for the readers and suscribers. I like Dirt Wheels' "Parting Shot." Readers send in action pictures, and they print the best ones. ATV Sport should do that. Each issue, the magazines should also feature someone's machine, with a mods list and ride review, plus action pictures.

A400L,

Having never ridden sand, I have to ask why everyone has their weight so far back on their machines?

I'm guessing it is to get better traction and to allow the front tires to ride on top of the sand. Is this right?
