Man that sucks. I broke two bones in my arm, my ulna and radius. Compound fracture (for those who dont know, thats when the bone comes through the skin) right on the growth plate had to have surgery and a lot of doctor appointments and Xrays. The doctors thought my arm might not grow anymore, but luckily it will. Still i was only in a cast for 6 weeks. Get better quick.

I broke like 10 bones in my wrist in a "freak" wheelie accident last summer. I yanked it up in 3rd going across an unfamiliar field with 2 feet of grass, and hit a large rut. It kind of spit me off the back, and I made the mistake of trying to catch myself. After major surgery, a plate, a rod, and 6 screws my wrist is like new. Thank god for insurance, cause it ended up costing $20,000. Next time its gonna be "TUCK AND ROLL"

No disability insurance through work or my atv insurance. Now I have to sell my Harley. It's a hard decision, but even if I could find other work right now I don't think I could come close to my current salary.

I wish it was a joke. I had considered getting rid of it before. (see here)
I never would have thought I would consider something so drastic, and in the end it was the sentimental (spelling?) value that made me decide to keep it. Unfortunetely, now I don't really have a choice. Hopefully, when everything is back to normal I can buy another one. But it just won't be the same.

Yeah, I wouldn't get enough money from the quad to sustain a family for 3 months. Plus, I still owe about what I could sell it for. So I would have to pay it off and the only benefit would be one less payment.
