I'm as diversified as anyone could be. I like a whole lot of different crap with no major preference other than maybe country and classic rock. Here's a few things in my CD collection other than the over 20 George Straits. Garth Brooks, AC DC, Chris Isaak, Led Zeppelin(all of them), Metallica, Puff Daddy, Clint Black, Aerosmith, Richard Marx, John Mellencamp, 2Pac, Dwight Yoakam, The Cars, Skynnard, Counting Crows, Chicago, Steve Earle, Hank Jr., Mariah Carey (strictly for the album cover), Guns & Roses, Duran Duran, Jimmy Buffet, Mase, Nirvana, Tom Petty, U2, and Will Smith. Pretty much a little of everyting in there except classical and gospel.

This is an interesting thread. But it also brings up another hot topic: censorship. How many forum members remember the PMRC, Or the Parents Music Resource Center? This was a group of wives of U.S. senators that decided to get together and create a cause to protest. This Committee was formed by no other than Tipper Gore, wife of Liberal, Socialist Al Gore. Yes, Tipper Gore favors censorship. Yes, She was born in an Ivory Tower with a room reserved only for the fortunate few(Read: Albert Gore III).
Sorry to stain such a positive thread, but it must be told if we want our sport to thrive. If HE is elected with her at his side, its a DOUBLE WHAMMY!! She wants music and speech censored. He wants Outdoor activities banned. That is not good for you or I.

Ok, I'll play. Here are a few bands I like, in no particular order...
Everclear, STP, Alice in Chains, Sublime, Foo Fighters, Chilli Peppers.
The Eagles & Segar are my favorite Classic rock bands.
Seeing as how my dad is a big Country fan grew up listening to Hank Williams JR. (Bocephus), so I know a lot of his music.
And yes, Mettalica. I don't like the S&M CD, basically I just don't like live albums. I bet it would've sounded 10X better if it was cut in a studio.

ahh.. what a topic! Since this is the ATVing Connection.. the most obvious loved sound has to be....
The sound of a fine tuned ATV cruising down the trail... ahhhh.. the sound of that engine revving and the swirl of wind by your ears...now that's the kind of music we ALL can agree on.
but.. for the sake of this post, here's my thoughts.
All musicial loves (groups) in most cases are grouped by the age of the listener and how they relate to their own "special" music.
I grew up with the Beatles, Motown beach music and what is now called Oldies Rock and Roll. Led Zepplin, The Who, Jethro Tull to name only a few of many.
I hope my love of music never fades or becomes stagnet. With life things never stay the same, and now my most loved music style is Jazz. The sounds of Lee Ritenhour, Third Force, Bob James and Boney James to name a few.
We all have different taste and I respect everyone for being indiviuals to themselves.

I have to agree with the post above. Nothing is sweeter to me than the music my piped Banshee makes when its in the power band
The next best source of music to me is (old) Metallica, Static-X, AC-DC, Slayer, Pantera, Nail Bomb. etc. etc.
