How about some stories about your best(or in this case worst) wrecks.Everybody would probably enjoy hearing them.

 

I have had few wrecks. I would say that the worst 2,1 did damage and the other didnt, one time in mississippi, my friend on his 250 timberwolf told me he had no brakes and was probably just going to keep on rolling, but somehow he stopped at the bottom of the hill, well i didnt see this and ran into the back of him!!! Front rack got pushed back an inch or so. The next time I didnt screw anything up but it was kinda funny, I was racing through the trails right behind my friends 220 bayou. Well he hit a ramp and stopped as soon as he landed, I was already airborned and flew right into his rear fender. Brakes dont work when you are in the air. Also one other time it wasnt a reck, but I ran over a bayou 200's front rack. It was cool. I went to back up and didnt know he was that close.

I have had 2 bad wrecks. The first one I was jumping a mud hole and went to far, I landed on another jump. I was just playing around in our pasture. I broke my wrest very bad, broke my collar bone, cracked my shoulder bone, and got 24 stiches in my knee. Yes, It was in racing season, and I had to miss 3 races. I was hurting very bad. The second one, I was at the race track before a race practicing. I was going though the rhythm section and over shot one of the jumps. I cased it and got a concution.

 

I was racing a Honda 450R dirtbike on a Bultaco pursang. When we left the line I was kickin' some butt until I realized that I forgot to turn on the gas, left off the throttle (without him noticing) and got ran over by him. Not fun, but funny to watch I imagine.

 

Well, nobody was riding it at the time but i did get to see my friends 99' 400ex roll of a trailer at 75mph. i was in the truck behind it about 200 yards back, and i swear that i still have nightmares with visions of it shooting up into the air when it hit the meridian. enough to make a person cry....

 

wrecks...wow.. Here is what happened to me last year (though I have had a few wrecks since). I was at Calico, CA and riding with my bud who just had recovered from back surgery after a radical and unplanned jump off a sand dune (65' drop!!..). Anyway, during the Calico ride I kept telling him to be careful as he was wearing his brace. Well that day the table turned. We were jammin' down this trail (never been on it before)when it forked off. He went high and I (wanting to get in front) began haulin' down the low trail. I just had shifted into fifth and was going about 35 (I guess..don't really know) when the trail ENDED. It was a small gorge. "ahhh&%$^%$" was said as I slide the quad sideways. If I would have accelerated I might have made it (doubt it though). But, I panicked, hit both brakes, while flying sideways, instantly flipping the 300EX. I went crashing into the gorge and the quad landed right on me tweaking my left leg. Since I had forgotten my gloves my hands were thrashed. THANK GOD FOR HELMETS!! because when the quad hit me I felt my melon expand along with the helmet. Other items destroyed included my binoculars, camera and H2O bottle that was in my back pack. As for the quad, it only had tweaked the handlebars (since replaced with Rental bars). THE LESSON HERE IS: KNOW YOUR TRAIL!!. Anyhow, have fun and "try" to be safe.....

Well this isnt much of a wreck but i was riding my honda 300 4by4 and a friend of mine was ridin a '93 Xplorer 300, i was raising dust (jsut a little nothing big and he was behind me and i pulled over to the right slightly and hit the brakes he was looking to the side down a rode adn jsut kept on truckin, well my rear axle didnt like this it bent the right side of his front rack and since the hit was not strait on it hit only my left axle bending it them i had to take it in and have it straitened, its still not perfect, a little wobbely at high speed

it happened this summer i just put new tires on my 97 honda 300 4x4 my dad and i werent home but my mom and some of there friends and one of my friends were all there.My mom let one of them ride my fourwheeler without my permission he got it in second gear held it wide open not knowing that there was no hand brakes jumped a 6 foot cliff and hit a tree
WITHOUT A HELMET! but didnt get hurt as for my quad........a totaled front rack. Two new front spindles and alot of welding and bending got my quad running again.The day after i got it fixed my and my friend were racing down a small what we thought was a deserted road (he was on his fathers 250quadrunner and me on my honda 300 )i was way ahead of him i came arond a corner and boom! hit a truck when i seen it i slid sideways and when i hit i flew up on the hood and baddly damaged my knee luckly all i had was a badly damaged knee.......as for the bike it suffered with a badly dented tank and front rack I WAS MAD!
