I was noticing that you have to be a supporting member to even look at the ads. Wouldn't it be better if you had to be a supporting member to list something, but not to look at it. That way, only the supporting members recieve the benefit of selling something but they have a greater opportunity to sell it or better chances in getting their asking price. They could still restrict non supporting members from posting in these threads and instruct them to PM the seller if interested.

That's an excellent suggestion and exactly how it works on some boat boards I visit.

 

I'm hoping DBeck will see this. And I'm not saying this because I want a greater opportunity to sell something, because I'm not a supporting member yet. But I do think more people will be, with added or better benefits.

This one just makes sense, it's like those comcast commercials where the advertisers aren't reaching the right audiences.

i can understand the video's being an added benefit of being a supporting member but ppl would have a great chance of selling their stuff like u said
