#11
When i first bought my atv (King Quad)i rode it almost every weekend.During the summer i take it out and ride about every two weeks,If not that atleast once a month.I have to drive about an hour to get to the mountains.Im not as lucky as some of you people who live where they can ride out of the chute.Since i live close to the World Famous Rubicon Trail, im going to give that a try this Spring or summer.Since i have a 4x4 quad that should be a great test for it....Bob

I ride almost every day. In two months on my 2000 Rancher 4X4 ES. I have racked up 450 miles. The local trail head is across the street from my house. Makes life alot easier. Most of the miles are riding alone.
Three Coats, pairs of boots and gloves, etc. Riding every day requires agood collection of gear.

AACCCKKKK!!!! You guys make me sick
I live in Pacifica, Ca. On the coast, just south of San Fransisco....
I have to drive 100 miles to ride mine.
I ride once or twice a month though.
Im in an ATV club and have a Toy Hauler camping trailer. So I have a good time when I get to go.
Plus my wife rides with me, and she is pretty fast....
But Im really excited about organizing some ATV racing at Monster Truck shows this spring. Its gonna be a blast...

I try to ride every day on my property right out of my garage door. I don't ride long, sometimes only 20 minutes, but it helps to clear my mind. I teach computer programming and also play jazz saxophone, so when I need a break from my work--out I go. I am a newbie, but I enjoy the short rides very much. Those short rides help me to get back to my work with a clear mind and a different outlook! Happy riding from Rhode Island.

Wow, I can't seem to make my daily rides shorter than 2hrs they usually last from 2 to 6hrs just on the trails around my place and on the weekends when we travel anywhere from 20 mins to 5hrs, we ride early at 8:00 am to 9:00am until dark, sometimes later. The best way to look at not riding as much as some of us is that you are not replacing worn parts every month! I'll get some good pictures this weekend of very local riding (my house) and of the Cliff top trails. I even hope to map out the trails this weekend on my GPS since I just made a handlebar holder for it! I can't wait!
