Let's just say a quad is six feet long, just for an average. If they are six feet in front of you, they are a quad length ahead.

Mine may be just a little over the average. And no, you can't touch it.

What if you are tight to their bumper .. is the 6ft away relative to rider position or the distance between the quads?

Your front bumper to their rear bumper, is what I'd go by.

But the reality of it all is, you lose by an inch or you lose by a yard, you've still lost.

I'd like to see an episode of "Pinks" with some bad a$$ quads on it .. who else would like to see that???

Saw one a few weeks ago with a couple of 500+ HP Busa's battling .. though wasn't honestly much of a battle ..

losing is losing, I'll give you that .. but my interpretation of 1 quad length would be with you tight on their bumper .. .. so that would be measured front bumper to front bumper, because at that point you are exactly one quad length behind them .. your'e actually their quad length behind ... two quad lengths would be them, a 6ft space, then you ..

or rather .. you, a space and then them .. nobody wants to be last!!
