cw821, Where are you from? We live in Ada, Ok.(down on the farm). Down in the southcentral part. I know how you feel. We haven't had enough snow to play in for the last ten years. We have about 7.5" now and no school tomorrow. We teachers enjoy a day out just like the students. Ten of my students will be at my house in the morning for a day of knee boarding and inner tube riding behind the four-wheelers. The "Bigfoot" monster truck had nothing on me today, the way we were doing donuts and
throwing snow. We are going to put the paddle tires on my son's warrior and play tomorrow. People that have snow all the time probably don't understand all the excitement down here.

We got 24 inches here in Maryland.

A good idea for sleding is a Boat tube filled with air.

I live NC and we had about 10 inches with drifts up to 3 ft. I woke up at around 4:00am and just dazed at the deep snow wishing 6:00 am would hurry up and get there. At 5:30 am I was dressed in many layers and standing in the garage with the atv warming up. By 5:45 I was spinning out the driveway and down the main roads to my girlfriends house 20 miles away. I was one of the few vehicles on the road moving, most where in the ditch. I had a blast, by lunch time I met up with my friends on their atvs for a long ride thru the city. We rode until 11:00pm past all of the local colleges and bars. We had a group of 10 atvs cruising everywhere and everybody was cheering us on and starring in amazement and wondering what these 4 wheeled vehicals were. This was the best time yet on an atv, we are expecting another snow this weekend, yeeeeeehaaaaaaa!!! Check out a few of my snow pics on the link below.

Just saw the photos of your snow cruse, that had to be a BLAST to ride in. Down here in Dallas it's trying to snow, but we can only dream of getting +20" like ya'll got. Thanks for the sharing your ride with the rest of us.

I never thought I would say this, but Vampires do good in the snow. I have never seen as much snow as we are getting in Northeast Texas today. It is deep and is a lot different from mud. I feel like I am riding a snowmobile!
The snow is blowing horzonatally and you can see about 200-300 feet. We are also getting lightning and thunder with it??
