i'd wear goggles, why wouldnt u want to? i hate riding w/o them, dust and mudd sucks

u could wear contacts for slower riding tho or if ur just cruising, i have sensitive eyes tho and they water really bad if i go fast w/o goggles on

I have the same problem. I use wiley X's goggles. Seal up pretty decent and I can switch lens depending on the conditions. If I know I'm gonna be in the nasty stuff (real bad dust) I just wear goggles.

Getting those eyes fixed back to 20/20 is becoming very affordable, something anyone who wears contacts should seriously consider.

I normally wear a pair of sunglasses, but that is just me...and I dont have contacts....so I guess this is no help.

The sunglasses do help in preventing dirt from getting at your eyes and it does shield the wind...so I guess they would help...

The last thing you need and want is dust and mud in your eyes with contacts on. Get those goggles fixed, or get new ones. Just wear them as much as possible, your vision is a very precious thing.

if you ride alone your fine with sunglasses, i always rode with a hat and sunglasses, till this weekend when i went on a ride that required a helmet, so i just brought my goggles along just incase, and thank god i did... after riding the first trail and having a person in front of me i was squinting the whole time and my eyes were burning even with wearing sunglasses... then halfway on the trail i had to stop and play with my contact cause it hurt so bad... ended up taking it out (dirt hands n all) to find it had a nice layer of dust all over it... only thing could do was put it in my mouth to semi clean it off and then put it back in which took 5 trys since it burned everytime...

after that trail i put the goggles on and was fine the rest of the time...

so, that said... unless your riding alone wear goggles..

Goggles are cheap too, I got a set of 4 of them off ebay for $21 including shipping. Not too bad either.
