He put some type of blocker that if I try to even edit it goes to the page where you start to sell something. I emailed ebay, but the auctions end in less than 24 hours... that is how much time it takes ebay to respond. He put the auction for 24 hours. He is very smart! Got dangit! He lives in london... yet my quad im selling says i live in Texas! Sigggghhhh

I just looked up your account, and just so you know, you don't have any cell phones for sale. Looks like eBay cleared it up.

I had the same thing happen to me last month. Some guy in the United Kingdom got my login info and listed over $2600.00 worth of listing fees. He was listing everything related to computers. All the listings had all the bells and whistles. I sent Ebay an email and they stopped all the auctions immediatley. I had to also get ahold of them via live chat and talk to them that way. They even called my home to confirm it was me they were actually talking to before they'd do anything about it.

In the end, they blocked my account from further use, deleted all the listings, then gave me a new login. I was then able to go into my account and change all the passwords and email address.

Just an FYI.....there's NO WAY someone can get your account info unless you got a bogus email stating they are waiting for payment for something you purchased. The link reads as Ebay, but it's NOT. It redirects you to their phoney page that looks EXACTLY like an authentic Ebay page. I know.....because this happened to me.

There's a way to tell if it's an authentic Ebay page or not. When you get the email ther ewill be live links that are a different color. All you have to do is HOLD the pointer over the links and look at the bottom left of the browser window, and you will see the real link.

I have a feeling they got into it by his "secret question" So many people have bid on these overnight! I need ebay's phone number. Do you know it? Thanks for the advise BTW. Here is the link to one of the auctions. He said this I will ONLY reply if you contact me to my email address. LOL! Wow, here is the link. Here it is If I have to pay, that is 77 dollars. And they get all the money for the auctions too! AAHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!

also right click the email and view the properties, see where the email came from. In outlook express, right click properties then hit the 'details' tab if you are ever suspect of an emails authenticity. Every Email/Newsletter I have receieved from ebay has read like this (top line of details)
****Return-Path: <eBay-US.112634261.64692.0@reply3.ebay.com>***

Emails sent to you from individuals would read like this.
****Return-Path: <user@isp.com>****

I added in the * myself, this isnt a guarnteed check, but it has worked for me in the past, once I find it to be suspicious, just add sender to block list. Hope this helps in the future. Remeber, ebay will NEVER ask for password either.

My rule of thumb for ebay is ===Never respond from your email,Go to your ebay account and respond and the same with paying for a item.Always check your messages in your account. If ebay send you a message it goes to your acount message box also.So if you get one in your email make sure you have one at ebay to or else it is a scam string==.
This is just my rule.Too many risk any other way IMO
