I have done a little research. I travel quite a bit and ride different trails. One of my fantasys is to hook a helmet cam to a laptop computer mounted on my bike and be able do live photo internet uploads complete with an image of my handle bar mounted GPS showing my location. I am not so much interested in video as being able to remotely trigger the shutter to do still photos and immediately upload via wireless link. I know if it were live I would have to have phone signal. If there was no signal I would like to be able to do a remote shutter release with a button? on the handle bar and store the still photo in the camera or computer. What do you think?

 

You kinda lost me there, but you wouldn't be able to ride with a laptop in a backpack if that's what you were saying, the hard drive would skip and crash the first time you hit a bump.
