3 (sled) deaths in 3 days
I don't have a death story but I'm going sledding in BC for the next 5 days. Theres been nothing but snow up in those mountains and I'm going to claim some of it, for the second time this year. There's not much risk of avalanche where we go but you can see where there is. We all wear traceivers and carry shovels and probes, not that we've ever needed the tranceivers, the shovels on the other hand get used more than the sleds I think Most of us have avalanche training, some are instructors and absolutely none of us booze it around the sleds. This time there'll be 11 of us in the group. Thanks, and sorry to hear about the deaths in the sleding community. Chances are these people had quads too.
