Default How do you keep from fogging up

I have a street bike helmet that I wear when I ride my quad in the winter for face protection. The problem is when I wear it the lens fogs up as soon as I exhale then I have to open it up to be able to see. I was wondering what you all wear when you ride in the winter? Thanks *****

If you don't have a duel shield it will be impossible, or a air flow system that flows air across the shield on the inside.

Yes that is right...You need the winter type shield that has a space between them!!! They have a pocket of air between them that keeps the outer one cold and the inner one warm when you breathe
Also a breath diflector will help even with the double shield.

Only other option is to stop breathing when you put your helmet on!!!!!!!!....Caper.......

I use a street helmet with no fogging problems. I usually will run with it cracked just a tiny bit - an opening so small that you can barely see it. This is enough airflow to keep if from fogging. A breath deflector would also help, but mine works OK without one.

I dont know if this would work with helmets in thw winter ...dont really see why it wouldnt but when i'm paintballing i use this anti-fog wax stuff that you put on the lense then wipe it with a rag and it stops it from fogging up. just called anti-fog stick or something

rain ex anti fog works or a car wax (carnuba). Instead of fogging the moisture will collect and run off. It also works great on a bathroom mirror to keep it from steaming up....
