Hey I guess I'll se ya'll later.

The county I live in has passed a no atv/dirtbike ordinance and are really enforcing it. Im order to ride you must own more than 40 acres or truck the bike to a legal spot out in the desert.

I have been lucky as I did ride a few times w/o getting caught. My neighbor got arrested and is being charged with Felony evading, endangering other people etc. FELONY!

I don't need any of that so I have sold my quads and am currantly fixing up an old truck and hopefully going to start my own trucking business with it. If I ever get it finished!

Anyway back to the ordinance. It pretty much bans all off-road type of vehicles. So far the only option is a Duel sport bike with a motorcycle license, insurance etc. I'm considering that but riding around stupid people in cars scares me to death.

So you people take care and be safe.

Chris

I'm sorry to hear that. I'd like to say a lot more - not about YOU - but I won't. Success with your business venture.

I'll see what I can find. Basically you can't ride on Private property if it's less than 40 acres. Your ok as long as your on a track like the one on 395 in Hesperia or in the desert/mountains and on a trail thats marked for atv use.

This is the first I have heard of this! Did this actually get voted in, or is it just proposed legislation?????

Get a dual sport, and blow dust in their faces!

I checked on some other forums, and it appears that this is the real deal. One guy got a ticket in Hesperia, and the cops had a handout and the ordinance is county wide. The high desert is full of tweakers and meth labs, and it has more felons on parole than any other part of the state......seems like they have their priorities way off!

Doesn't mean you can't ride Chris, just means you can't ride from your house......

they tried doing that were i live in upstate ny and we all wrote a petition against it and it was overthrown. Literally every other house has atleast one ATV or dirtbike.

Utah just passed a law allowing the use of ATV's on the roads. I havent read the whole thing yet, but the short of it is; if you pass a safety inspection, have insurance and a registered ATV, you can ride......

I wonder what we can do to get Barbara Boxer and Diann Feinstein interested in criminals.
