Mega Max better than Yoshimura?
I don't know about the Yoshi, but that mega max II is a good exhaust for the 300ex. Ihad one that failed and I bought another one. There might be cheaper, there might be quieter, there might be more power, but the mega max II is a real good combo of those 3. I say no regrets.

Mega Max better than Yoshimura?
Update
I bought a megamax full system for the 300ex.
I rode the 300ex totally stock and it seemed peppy. It would easily wheelie in the first two gears, but thats about it.
Then I jetted up to a 128 main, no lid, uni filter, and full megamax exhaust(baffle removed). The differance is night and day. It packs a midrange Wallop. Now wheelies easy in first, second, third, and will float the wheels in forth with a little help. All tires and gearing completely stock.
I have yet to fine-tune this setup. I have not tried any other jetting or even adjusted the air/fuel mixture screws.
