Gee sounds like another 'accident looking for a place to happen'. Keep in mind that irrisponsible and unsafe riding is what is causing the governments to issue legislation and restrictions. I hope that you are not becoming part of the problem that is hurting it for others. There may even come a day when you want to ride and there are no trails to ride on. So have fun, but keep it safe.

Hope you're not hurt too badly. Quads can be fixed, broken bones heal blah blah blah .. just a word of caution for the next ride out .. check out the area fully before riding foolishly. We all like to jump and do stunts, but it is important to check the area out before engaging in higher risk stunts. Next time it could be a hell of a lot worse.
Having said that .. enjoy your next ride when you're healed up.

Always always always scout the jump with a few passes before you "hit" it..... Even if you think you know it by heart, and just hit it the day before at full speed....
You just never know what is going to pop up. Trails can literally change overnight.

i got out of the hospital a couple of weeks ago after ten days in it.. i lacerated my spleen and had all sorts of internal bleeding.. only thing i did to my wheeler was a bent tie rod... top of 3rd gear into a ditch i saw when it was about 3 ft in front of me... the best part was the morphine!... and the 36k hospital bill
