Ok... I guess the better question is do you guys even HAVE ATV insurance... personally I have had it in the past on my snowmobiles... and now that I am a Home-owner it is more important to have it than before....

Yes, I wouldn't ride without it. Go to my page and read my story about how my daughters friend got on my atv when I wasent home and totaled it out along with some serious injuries that required a lifeflight. Thank god I had Insurance. They paid out over $120,000 and It cost me nothing! My atv insurance did go up a whole $10 a month. Get it and sleep good a night!

American Family Insurance. Got 2 bikes with full coverage for a little over $200 a year. It stills scares me when I think what would have happened if I didnt have coverage.

When I lived in Taxachusetts there were only a handful of car insurance companies who would even attempt to do business in the state. High indicidence of theft & fraud in Boston combined with absurd levels of governmental regulation drove all other companies away, leaving the consumer with no choices. That's the government taking care of you! So it is possible that nobody insures ATVs in MA.... *shrug*.
Good luck.
Good luck.

My homeowners insurance covered my atv accident. They paid out with no problem, as long as you can prove you use your atv to service you property like plowing or something. They also will cover theft if it get stolen from your property. As far as outside your property I would think your SOL.

Scott, that would never fly in Massachusetts.. this state is Scam central for fraudulent insurance claims.. I have an almost perfect driving record and I pay $1100 a year for a 2006 F-150... full coverage.. I don't think that is horrible.. but my friend in NH only 20 miles away has a 2006 Dodge w/full coverage and he only pays $900 with a worse driving record.. our coverage is almost 100% identical and we are both insured with Met Life... so figure that BS out
