Its back... I've been doing this post every year and it returns again.

An unusually weak non-conference schedule makes me believe that Ohio State will easily get to 8-0, but then they go to Penn St play Wisconsin at home and go to that school up north three of the last four. It will be hard to top last year, BIG 10 champs, a Heisman, 12-0 and getting embarassed on national TV in the championship. Anyway, in Ohio the Bucks are #1 (Unless the mighty Brady Quinn turns out to be the second coming of Bernie Kosar) So... GO BUCKS!

My pre season national title pick: West Virginia over USC

 

Well the Bucks handled Youngstown, as expected and looked good, but more importantly "That school up north" was embarrassed by App. St! I'm actually dissappointed because that makes the BIG 10 look pretty bad when #5 and the expected conference champ loses to a D1AA team

 

UGLY win over Akron, the O Line and Boekman looked shaky. However one thing brightened my week more than anything "That school up north" lost again...by a lot and to make it even better the one school lower on the list then them, Notre Dame lost also. For the first time EVER MI and ND are both 0-2 GREAT! Washington our next opponent beat down Boise this week so next game could be a big challenge. GO BUCKS!

Finally an impressive showing. The running game looked good and the D really showed up. The Little Animal is starting to climb the ladder of great LBs at The Ohio State University.

58-7 sounds great until you realize Northwestern lost to DUKE last week! A win is a win and I'm glad, but killing NW isn't much of an accomplishment. The BIG 10 must really be as bad as everybody says if PSU couldn't beat Michigan and Wisconsin didn't look all that good either. Thank god for the Buckeyes because the Browns drop 51 on the Bengals and the next week lose to Oakland... only the Browns

We handled Minnesota but more importantly OU, TX, WV and FL all lost! Moving from 8th to 4th in one week ain't bad. Now if FL beats LSU next week and we keep winning it will be us and the winner of the Cal/USC game in the National Championship game! Purdue looks good but they havn't faced a D like ours...

So LSU won... but USC lost so we move up another spot. Kent St should be no prob then we get MSU, PSU, Wisc., Illinois and UM. It won't be easy but the Bucks will be favored in every game from here on out. Just keep winning baby!

Hopefully USC will bounce back and beat Cal or LSU will meet FL again in the SEC champ game and will lose.
