Default Out of state permit in Colorado

I live in South Dakota and I'll be going to Colorado the beginning of October to ride for a couple of days. Will I need to get an out-of-state permit to go riding legally there?

Per This site, if your quad is registered in your home state and you are in Colorado for less than 30 days, then no you do not need a Colorado permit. If you do not register your ATV's in your home state, than you can get a out of state permit from the same web site.

Enjoy your visit to our state !
