with $7000 you should be able to get about any sport quad. You might want to give us a little more information. What kind of riding are you going to be doing:woods, desert, race track, mud etc.How big are you?How much experience do you have? The 400 EX is a great bike and Very dependable atv. They do make some that are faster than the Ex.They make some atvs that are water cooled. They make some that are a little more track ready. Some of the EX'S dont have reverse but I think the newer ones do.

i am about 5 11 210lbs i want a bike just to really cut up on not really goin to go to the track just really fields and trails i use to ride/race dirt bikes that is about it so what do yall think i should go with cheaper the better that 7gs has to include all the tt&l and crate charges to so idk that is why i was think about the 400ex the dealer around me has the 07 ones for 5100 so that is good price?

The 400's are the best all-around machines. They are great on the trail, but fast enough in open country that you won't get bored.

I Honda has a time proven engine that can be lugged down, so I like it for really tight trails. The Suzuki is faster than the Honda, but it likes to rev so I would pick it more for open country and fast trails, and not for really tight technical stuff.

The Raptor 700 is another candidate. It has monster torquey low end power, but I personally don't like the ergonomics even one little bit.
