Default WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST MACHINE?

1985 Honda XR-80. My brother and I bought it together when we were 11 and 12 for $200. My cousin helped us get it running and we beat the snot out of it for about 2 years until it was stolen.

Default WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST MACHINE?

Well i started out riding my cousin's Montessa 250 Enduro Hill climber dirt bike at the age of 14 yrs. old , and i rode a freind's 1986 Honda TRX350 Foreman full time 4x4 in the winter of 1986 it was the first 4 wheeler i had ever rode ; then in 1989 i bought my first quad it wa an Idenical 1986 Honda TRX350 Foreman 4x4 with a 1500 lb. SuperWrench mounted on the same custom built mounting plate welded to the front bumper !

I bought it from the Original Owner with just a little over 20 hour's on it a hold over from our local dealer ; i kept it for 16 years and it was in good shape as day one except for the plastic's which my brother repaired with a cheap plastic weilder he bought from Harbor Freight after i sold it to him !

My second Quad was a 1993 Suzuki LT4WD 300 King Quad that my Late Cousin bought one week before the Blizzard of 93' , i sold the 1986 Honda Foreman 4x4 to my brother Nov. 2005 ; and After i bought a 2006 Arctic Cat 400 FIS Auto 4x4 Feb. 7th 2006 i sold the Suzuki LT4WD 300 KQ to my brother a week later !

He rode the Honda Foreman everyday he could get off work before dark , but he didn't keep up the maintence it recieved when i owned it ; and about a year ago while he was racing our neifew's 1998 Yamaha Wolfvrine 4x4 the foreman jumped time !

He had to be pushed home by his wife on the 1993 Suzuki LT4WD 300 King Quad ,the KQ is still running strong to day ; he plan's on getting the part's and having me to rebuilt the Foreman !

Working 5 day's a week before datlight untill after dark .he doesn't have time to do the work himself ; but i will get it going for him again !

Then i think he will keep it maintained after he pay's for the part's to rebuild the Foreman's engine , it's cost a lot less to keep the oil , oil filter , and air filter cleaned and reoiled ; and a lot less time than an overhaul take's it look's like it will have sit up over a year now untill he get's the part's for the rebuild and i think this will be one of those time's when you learn the hard way about the care we give our toy's !

To me these are not toy's nothing that cost over 3 thousand dollar's and cost as much as a good used car or truck doesn't rate as a toy to me , if i were rich i might think different but i'm not rich and the money it cost to repair something that would still be in good shape ; if the proper care were taken to maintain these so called toy's !........

First machine was a 1998 Yamaha Blaster. Ran it into the ground, and then about 7 years after that, I got back into the grind with the 450.

I have been riding for years but I just bought my first machine I myself own, a 2008 brute force 650, Grew up riding my cousins, friends, grandparents quads. Then got married and took about 5 years to get the wife to let me spend that much on a quad heh.
