WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST MACHINE?

My first quad was a used Kawasaki Lakota 300. Fun to ride, never was able to get to the top speed in our area. Learned a sport quad with straight axle is not the way to go in New England.

Well, not sure what year model it was, but it was a Yamaha Breeze! That thing took a beatting! We rode that and an OLD ragged out lawnmower that my dad took the mowing deck off of. Oh the memories.. One in particular when I was driving the mower around the sandy trails of east central Texas back in the day, the steering column pulled right up out of the machine and there I was heading to a fence. A couple hours later and some used carpet (rigged it back with the carpet, DON'T ASK) and we were back in buisness!

Well mine was a long time ago and was similiar to bberck's atc 90 but older...it was a three wheeled mud bog purchased in 1969....it was the predecessors to the honda atc's...The mud bug was made by snoco-company and it had no springs or shocks to speak of nor did it have any fenders over the rear wheels or the 5 h.p. briggs engine...straight frame with belt to chain drive turning a spider gear and would turn on a time and even wheelie...it even came with an optional ski to mount on over the front wheel....eventually they put covers over the engines and mounted shocks on the front and increased the engine sizes which is when honda came on the scene and eventually came the bid reds, etc. ....
