That is cool I will be heading up elk hunting early Nov can't wait!

 

I dont know if you noticed but I did put up some new pics last week.

 

We were watching this hunting show about Elk hunting.. Those things get HUGE!

 

Yep they shure do. a couple years back we wer heading into aour hunting area about 5:00 am in the moning and we came across a 12pt standing in the middle of the road it was the biggest elk I had ever seen I tried tracking that thing all day to no prevail!

Now Moose on the other hand get even bigger and they get very mean and protective thoes hunts can be real fun if you have never done that before.

Im going back in Nov to GA with the fiance to go hunting! Im hoping to shoot somethin'!! Since he has a long weekend in Nov.., I actually get to hunt this year!

 

I have never even seen a moose or an elk before.. Ive seen deer and turkeys! lol!! They had moose on that show I was watching too! They also had some kind of buffalo thats in alaska.. they are huge and have a lot of hair! That thing charged at the hunter and he got him with a bow and arrow! It was Cool!

 

Oh how cool you will have a great time. Wish you the best. I have never hunted back east just here in the west and I would like to try it sometime.

 

My brother bow hunts but not me (dont have the patients) I'll stick with my .280!

 

I have never bow hunted, my fiance used to. He wants to get me a 270, his bro has one so Im going to shoot it to see how I like it.. We went to the shooting range on sunday to sight in his 7MM Bolt action. He was RED from the kick on that thing!! lol!

 

Yep they shur do that is why I have my .280 I can shoot it all day and not have a problem I also reload so I know how to get the most out of my gun!
