I got the fox V3,
its very light, fits comfortably, and is very very well ventilated, it also looks sick.

I don't like buying helmets (or gloves or boots really) from the net. The reason is that especially in helmets, you have to try them on to ensure a proper fit.

Across manufacturers sizes vary greatly. A nice KBC helmet size M might fit you well, but size M in say, a Scorpion, may be totally different. I own several helmets, from street riding to MX style, and run from M to XL depending on the make.

With lids, proper fit is essential or the helmet is all but worthless anyway. A helmet fits or it a waste, so ordering off the net without being able to try them on is at best risky and may end up wasting your money.

I try them on at local shops then see if I can get them cheaper online, but with shipping, I often find that it's the same as buying them locally.

Good choice with the V3, I got one on closeout this year and have been kicking myself for having used the cheapo helmets for so long. They are light, not so much of a big deal, but the venting and overall comfort are great. That, and the goggle port is properly configured so gogs fit better than on some of my previous lids.
