Quite possibly the most biased magazine out. Good ol' YamahaWheels.

The only magazine that had the KTM 525 beating the Raptor in EVERY test but the Raptor was better overall?????

Rumors are always going on with that magazine,With them it's always about money and which company will throw the most amount of it at them.If it's dirtwheels the YFZ will be the king of the 450's and the Raptor will be king of the big bores.

The one that matches your riding style best. Sooner or later you will replace oem for aftermarket anyway. You can solve pretty much any machine quirk through the aftermarket and they are all capable enough to win under a skilled operator.

Quad said basically the same thing, the KTM is by far the best machine but for $4K less the YFZ is the best machine out there. At least thats what I read.

From what I've read/heard Dirt Wheels or Quad (can't remember which one, I haven't read them) picked the LTR 450 as the best MX quad and the YFZ 450R as the best all-around 450. Maybe that was a comparo between the two. Can't really remember.

I'd get either a YFZ450R or an LTR450 and take the money you saved and invest it in the bike.... it's much smarter/cooler than just buying a KTM.
