Need some help......How do you get a Maryland title from MVA for your ATV. I tried and they told me that Maryland does not title ATV's.....but I have a friend who has had a Maryland titled ATV for a few years now???? Can anyone help? Thanks

 

I'm new to ATV-ing and I checked the MVA Site and they say they don't title ATVs. I purchased mine in Ohio who does have titles and sent me an Ohio title.

Off-road vehicles must be registered annually with DNR and display a registration sticker. This is annual and cost about $20.00 a year. You must also have insurance.

I used to ride at Greenridge State Forest. I just went to the Ranger Station an got my Sticker for the year. It was $15. At the time, it did not have to be titled. You just have to give them the VIN# off of the frame. No insurance either. That may have changed though. It has been about 3 yrs since I was up there.
