Default large tires on warrior?

Was wondering what the largest tires i could go with on my warrior...not looking for big rims or car tires, moreso just some bigger tires for some of the trail riding i do....the 22" tires front and back are nice but i'm wondering if i could fit 26" tires with minimal to no issues without adding an extedned swing arm....the front should fit being i have 2" spacers on either side but the rear is my worry....thougths?

btw just looking for some more ground clearence under the rear axle....if i could fit 26's 2" more would be all i need.

26"s are just too big. Even if you did go with them you would have to change your gearing to like 10-40! Just stay with the 22"s. Just when you come up to some deep tracks try to keep your tires out of 'em

hrm, idk because the thing is wheelie happy as it is, i'd like to slow it down a little......speed isn't what i'm looking for, looking for ride height and if that goes with slowing it down a little i'm fine with that....

like i said, it doesn't take much to do a wheelie on this bike, i've heard warriors are supposed to be bulky and slow, well idk whats under this one, but i outran a banshee with ease.

When I need some extra ground clearance on a sport quad, I run ITP Holeshot XCT's, 23" front/22" rear).

26" is ridiculous! It will mess up your steering geometry. All kinds of folks are truning their nice utilities into turds with huge tires, now you want to do it to a sport quad as well????

well....with the 2" spacers i have on either side in the front, steering isn't the easiest anyhow, so maybe just make the rear tires larger? or is there a smaller rear sprocket/brake i can go(and of course change out the sprocket at the engine to keep the same ratio) or am i better off saving up and buying a utility? most people say a warrior isn't ment for speed anyhow even though this one is fast......idk its a big ish quad imho.

Is that home made grab bar aluminum or steel? If it's steel that considerably more weight hanging off the back end. If you start putting coolers and other crap on it no wonder the front end won't stay down.

As far as outrunning a banshee must of us here know better. If you did out run a Banshee, the engine was shut off or the driver missed every gear he had.

its steel but weighs next to nothing, and no i don't put coolers on it. I have no reason to front on beating a banshee, but i will consider either he didn't know how to shift, or the nitro fuel he was running wasn't helping him any....LOL

so no go on the 26" would a inch smaller make a big difference with 25's?

If you look in my album you will see my sons yellow Z400 it was purpose built for boonie crashing in the mountains. It can be done but it is a major headache. My son have to have custom sprockets made for the quad. 11-52 sprockets I think.

I have to agree with Bio on this. I've ridden my sons Crawler, trust me it handles like a pig.
