Good first video. Try waiting (I know it's hard) for the sun to come up or video in a less shaded area. Here's a couple of early ones I did. Same kind of issue on my first videos. YouTube - Sportsman and ATP jumping YouTube - Mudding with Polaris Sportsman and ATP I've done some other's but am not going to post them as they are kind of shaky. I've been trying various camera mounts and think the helmet mounted is the way to go.

Thanks! Filming at the cottage is pretty difficult IMO. I shot this around 5PM, so there was sunlight, I guess I just should have had the camera positioned better.

I'll check out your vids when I get home... my school blocks youtube haha.

I think a helmet cameras are great, I'm trying to buy a GoPro Hero Wide Motorsports camera. Though having someone filming you is just as good! I'm making a riding video at my farm with my dirtbike buddies also, so it should hopefully be better than this one.

I have a few on youtube. YouTube - Koopa4747's Channel

It's not the best of quality. I use the FLIP camcorder. Cheap and easy. Won't cry if it gets dropped and ran over.

Nice videos Koopa and Moose!

Moose, I couldn't believe a utility could jump that high! LOL. It would scare the crap outta me getting that kind of air on a utility! haha

Yeah, me too. The first guy over the jump is the son of one of my buddies. He's about the most talented rider I have ever seen. He has great balance and control. I can't imagine how he would be on a sports quad. (But, we have to much fun in the deep water/mudholes up here). We figured he went about 18 feet on a couple of them. I've maybe gone 7 or 8 and that is nerve racking enough for me. My son on the ATP is a little less crazy than his buddy but can ride very well also. I have troubles keeping up with them on the trails, but don't tell them that.

PS I've got the makings for a helmet mount for my digital camera on the way. I think it's got to be a lot more stable than using the handlebars. Live and learn.
