Default Plow?

I want to buy a plow to do my driveway and the neighbor's. I'm looking for something small 48" or 50". Does anyone have experience with the Warn or the Cycle Country? I can get either of those for under $400 right now. Any other brand in that price range?

Thanks in advance, Dave

I have the Tusk "City Slicker" plow from Rocky Mountain ATV.com; plow works fine (neighbors really like it too...).

Default City Slicker

I also us the city slicker plow from rocky mountain atv. Bought mine in december of last year...I think like 350 for all (tubes, mounting plate, and plow). Used it all winter and have absolutely no complaints about it. I use a warn winch to lift it. I have the smaller plow--48 or 50 inch...push it with a 400cc big bear without any trouble and 99% in 2-wheel drive. I know that my plow works much better and quicker than my neighbor's walk behind blower...plus my equipment is a whole lot more fun in the summer!!

My warn had hardware issues... I would break u-bolts every other week. Called warn to complain and they said all they could do was send me new hardware. I was so pissed, I sold it before the end of season for 100 bucks and bought a Moose. LOL, now I'm having issues with Moose's break-away springs being too weak.... What happened to quality? These damn toys ain't cheap, but the way they are put together sure as hell are.... GL!!!

I would guess that Warn and Moose have gone the "Chinese" route. My old Moose and Cycle Country plows were fine... probably Made in the U.S.A. back then.

The Tusk Plow system from RMATV is the "Eagle" plow system... Made in U.S.A. I have one on my current ATV, and had one on my previous ATV. Excellent plow systems.

I have never had an issue with my Cycle Country plow. The only problem is the mount has two low areas where the tubs are attatched. I think the Tusk does not have that if I'm correct. Boss Man would know. It's amazing what those two little 1" nubs can get ya hooked on!
