What's a good 60 inch plow? What all do you have to buy to get it working? I have a winch, so I'd want one to work with it.

I have a 48" cycle country plow. It came with the King when I bought it.

Although on further deliberation I would probably go with the moose. It is a heavier plow. The cycle country can ride up when pushing heavy wet snow, which it did today. I pretty sure they have it in the width you want. However why do you want it that wide. If you plan on hauling it in a pickup you will have to back it in. A trailor no problem. Also plowing sidewalks will be difficult.

Just my 2 cents.

I also have a quadrunner 500 with a winch. I bought a Moose 50" plow. I agree with the earlier post, go with the Moose plow. Very well built. The 50" plow, universal push tube and mounting bracket should cost you around $350-$400. If you want to go with the 60" plow, add another $75-$100. Winch works great to raise and lower the plow.

If you want the best, you have to go with the Moose.

I have a 50" Moose County plow. If Moose is the best then I would hate to see the worst. I've broken almost every weld in the pivot assembly in only one season of plowing! I've had most of my breakdowns while plowing sidewalks at slow speed with my KQ. The guy who does my welding just puts me on his schedule whenever he sees snowflakes!

Has anyone tried a V-plow? How well do those work and how well do they hold together?

I bought a 60 inch Moose for my king with no probs yet and no regrets either. I havent had a single weld break on mine either. I got mine shipped for 340 out the door. I too already had a winch so i didnt have a need for a lift for it. And Id buy another one in the future. Bty there is a couple of pics of mine on my link.

I'm glad you haven't had problems with your plow. Maybe I just got a bad set of push tubes but I sure have had problems with them. They have been breaking right at the factory welds. The last time that I had it to the welding shop I had every weld gone over and haven't had a problem since.

MikeR,
I have a Polaris V-plow and its held up for 2 seasons with no problems. Kind of nice to V-plow the thick stuff. Moose plows are made at Cambridge Metals and Platics (CMP) for your information. Sturdy units as well.
