If you are up in the Iron Range, have you rode the Gilbert riding area? nice terrain, but the red iron ore mud is a pain to wash off if you go mudding or splashing in the puddles. There is Spider Lake, north of Motley, used to be about 60 miles of trails, still has about 30 or so. Nemadji State Forest near Duluth is supposed to be good, never been there. To be honest, some of the best riding I've done is right across the border in Wisconsin, I love Iron River, right along Hwy 2 in the far north edge of WI, lots of trails, easy access, and the towns let you drive right up to the gas stations, very ATV friendly for the most part. Now that I live by Duluth, its just an hour or so to Iron River, so I spend a lot of my time there, 34 bucks for a one year riding sticker, and you are good to go.
