Default How much are you paying for insurance?

I know we've talked about insurance before but how much are you guys paying to insure your ATVs? Mine went down again and now it's $75 a year from Progressive. That sounds cheap to me but I don't have anything to compare it to. I'm just wondering if that's a good deal or if there's something better.

Haven't had it in a while. When I had the 2000 Trail Boss, 2003 Trail Blazer and 2004 Magnum, it was all about $250 a year, full coverage. That was through Markel. Checked with allstate since the cars, bikes and house are through them. They told me $1200 a year for just the Trail Boss. Thought to myself, in less than 2 years, I could by a replacement myself.

$75 a year sounds pretty cheap to me. I doubt there is any other insurance that costs less. Most are around $200 a year so I think you got a great deal.

In rip off Canada its almost $250 , more if you get collision. For $250 you get Fire, Theft and Comprehensive in case a moose or bear sues you if you hit it.

First year was $250 with Progressive in Mass. That was 2014. This year it was $230. This is only on the Outlander. Everything is expensive here.

Thanks for the input guys. Maybe mine is cheaper because my ATV is getting old and not worth much.

Up here if you do not have "collision" its the same price no matter what ATV it is. Same with cars.
Its odd since the payout if in a fire or its stolen would change depending on the model and year.

I dropped the Trail Boss because I could just buy another one used cheaper than the yearly payment and deductible combined.

Of all the accidents I had on any of them, I never filed a claim. Getting used parts and fixing it myself was cheaper. The insurance was more for someone getting hurt or the quads being stolen.

I never filed a claim on an accident either but I've had several quads stolen. That's why I can't get over how cheap it is.
