Gas in a bag.. Maybe I'm getting old and scared or not keeping up with technology or a little of both. I'd use the bag for water and a hard plastic can for gas.Plus what are the small loops for.. Shot gun shell holders.

I guess I don't see the advantage of it being a soft bag. That's great for coolers, not so much for carrying fuel. And the $300 price tag is just unreal. The plastic fuel packs just seem like a much better choice and a whole lot cheaper. And how would you dump the fuel out of something like that? I don't think you can, you probably have to siphon it out or you'll dump half of it on the ground.

Not on my list of things to get.. You still need to get a spout and store it, seems like it would be a real PIA to try dumping fuel out of a bag. It also states its for transportation only and not long term storage.

Today's trivia: Blimps have gas bags.
That's the first thing I thought of when I saw the name of this thing this morning.

Military uses fuel bladders for refueling on airfields that are way out in the middle of nowhere. Just big, heavy duty rubber bladders. I'm sure the fuel bag would work fine, just seems like it's very expensive. I'd consider it at half the price. I've poured liquids from bladders before. It's just about as easy as a rigid container, but, as said, you have to have a separate spout.

I actually bought a battery powered liquid siphon hose off Amazon about a year or so ago for $20. It actually works pretty well for siphoning gas but its something you would also have to carry with you in addition to this soft fuel bag. I think the cost is the major dislike about this product. If it were $75-$100, then it would be a good option. I haven't been on a ride long enough in a long time that I couldn't fill up and have enough fuel. Or I went to a park and I could just make a few loops of different trails and if fuel got low, go back to the truck and pour in gas from my 5 gallon can. If you ride some of these larger trail systems, they will actually let you drive into the small towns and fill up just like a car so no need to carry extra fuel just extra money.
