Less pad weight, plus carbon fiber rotors supposedly wont warp like steel under heat and pressure.

You can always judge the state of the industry by looking at the companies involved in supplying its replacement parts. In that line of reasoning, things are good:

Good company. I've ordered parts from them with no problems in the past plus their repair videos I've seen, they really explain as they go and show good detail info that the average non tech can understand also.

One domestic competent manufacturer says the key to global success hinges on new packaging that takes the guesswork out of what it actually is you're buying:

Fiction brakes? Friction brakes. And what I've read says SBS, Scandinavian Brake Systems, is headquartered in Denmark, and not a domestic brand from Reading, Pennsylvania. Can anyone confirm where SBS is really from?

Corporate from Denmark from what I've read. SBS Thought they might have been confused with EBC but they originated in the UK and then branched to the US.

You're correct, their R&D and production facilities are still in Denmark but their domestic subsidiary (who apparently helped in designing the new packaging) is in Reading, PA.

Interestingly, they are distributed here in the US through Racing Brakes USA out of California. Truly a global business model if ever we've seen one.

This week we're examining a day dedicated to hunting and fishing each year and a chance to snag a brand new Wolverine X4 in the process:

If you've ever visited Glamis, CA, you recognize this store. Now, 39 years later, it's found a new owner who promises to keep it going strong:

Let's hear it for Polaris. It's great they can support this little busines and cater to the sand dunes crowd. David
