Signatures and Thieves
#1
Does anyone think that by listing our Quads and Mods in the signature that we are setting ourselves up for thieves?
I would certainly not want to do anything to encourage a thief to attempt to break into my home and end up getting shot.
What is your opinion on this matter?

don't worry about it
mine is locked to another.......pushed in the back of a shed
drive a car in.......lock it
lock the shed door and park another car behind it and lock that
when i go out and play people see me drag em down the road
if they going to take em good luck.......hope they kill themselves on my 3 wheelers
truthfully........they have a battle getting them out of the shed.......
and because the nature of the sport most atv riders in the area no me and know my bikes.........they are hard to hide....especially the 350x.....everyone in the club knows her
.......they show up sooner or later....and the guilty party usually gets caught
where as a farm bike is an easy steal and often happens.......
i believe i have done my part to prevent theft......and the insurance company is happy that my 'farm' bikes have got the right treatment.....well they all see farm use at some stage (every holidays)
i am happy to talk open on the net cause.......9 .9 out of 10 people on the net are as genuine as me......i think
......its hard to make up stories and keep them consitent.......to much of a waste of time

I don't think you have much to worry about.
I know a guy in Kansas who has a new Quad Lock patented. It is neat. I have one on order myself.

As long as you have very good locks, cables, alarm(s) you should be O.K. I always make it super hard for someone to steal my stuff. Alarms and locks help... but when they see the stuff piled in front of my quads they will think twice! Plus, nosey neighbors help out too...
