I just wanted to add that i too have been very frustrated with this forum. everytime i ask a serious question, i'm lucky if i get one or two answers. yet i see posts that aren't even related to atv's that have 3 or 4 pages. it's very unfortunate that people cant get atv information from an atv forum. pam, i probably will be e-mailing you for advice, thank you for that option.... oh, but i do have a hotmail account, i hope you dont mind. << .... The thing that makes me mad is people don't even think of using the search button. Sometimes I see the same question on the same page, sometimes by the same person who can't wait for people to get back to them on it. Most of the time, their questions can be answered by simply looking in a repair manual that everyone SHOULD own. Many of these conflicts are caused by ignorance, not stupidity. >>

Amen brother!

The search function has to be the most underutilized portion of the forum. How many times can the top speed of HO, Blaster, Warrior, etc. be posted.

Has everybody gone over to the "Full Throttle" section of the forum?

I know what you are talking about Pam. Scramdaddy said it best when he stated that the recent postings on the Sportsman 700 comments were on file and repitition that is over a year old. Yet everyday some says, "What about the ....?"

It sure will be sad to see the forum lose another quality poster. Too many have departed in the last 3 years. We will miss you Pam.

It's hard to soar with the eagles...

Hey there dont go too far off on us kids for stupid stuff, I'm 16, cause i hardly post at all in this forum, and when i do its because there is a question the really needs to be answered and no one else knows the answer to it (but usually they arent mechanichal questions), two of my friends are going to become small Engine mechanics, my uncle is a mechanic and i have taken classes on small engine repair in school and my spare time, i got my new quad a year and a half ago and take care of it religously, i know everything about it and have adjusted the vales and cleaned the carb on it, on my old three wheeler i have re-built the top end once- new valves, seals,rings- whatever was in there i replaced, everything except boreing it out me and my uncle did to that motor, thats how i learned about motors, so i know something, just not everything about them, i rarely argue with people cause its a waste of my time and theirs - but i am sure someone reading this is going to do a search and find all of my prior posts and say "look at that one. it says-----" well then we will know who the people are who are always starting the fights

No Mandy, fire away! Some of my best friends are Hotmail users

<< i know everything about it >>

Fourtrax4Life, Nobody ever knows EVERYTHING about any quad, no matter how many times they've torn into it. After years of owning bikes, I know I can always be surprised by some weird problem that crops up.

Even the best can be stumped by bikes they have owned for years.

No problem - that's not an easy one to figure out, so I'm glad I still had it in my archives.

P.F., as mentioned above, did you ever consider ignoring the meat-head posts. With many of them, it is obvious that the author isn't running on all cylinders him/herself! A big clue is the total lack of any spelling or grammar skills what-so-ever. These people shouldn't be handling a tool period, much less wrenching on their high dollar quad.

I have met people like you Pam. You can't help yourself. You feel the need to spread your knowledge to others (a teacher at heart). I owe a good deal of my initial electrical knowledge to a person such as yourself. Consequently, I have become one of these "teachers" myself.

What you need to realize is that there are many out there that don't really appreciate the knowledge thrust upon them. It seems strange that forum users ask a question but are too hard-headed to accept any response that goes against their preconceptions of what the aswer SHOULD be. I realize it is sometimes hard to "bite your tongue" when you want to address an issue you are knowledgable about. However, if these idiots routinely don't get any response, they will be weeded out...eventually.

My advice: IGNORE THEM AND THEY WILL LEAVE!

Mr. Bubs, Pam has been a great member to these forums with a hell of alot more useful information then I have ever seen from you! She has probably forgotten more stuff about atv's then you will ever know. It's not her fault if her posts are above your head. I have warned you before in personal e-mail about childish behavior and personal attacks (directed at Pam). I don't know if you have a problem excepting the fact that Pam knows much more then you about atv's & motors or what, I do know that........"YOU" are, the weakest link..GOODBYE!

MXBUBS,

That's a classic a$$hole post. There's no reason to post something like that. That is just the stuff that gets to people. Grow Up. Come on now, and i think i'm speaking for a few others here....back me up guys.

That post is rediculous.
