The letter said they are part of the AMA but when I went to their website I could not find anything about them. The letter also said to check out the ATVA website but it did not give an address???

The ATVA is like a division of the AMA. It has it's own president like the AMA, only completely devoted to quads. It should be better than the AMA was as far as promoting ATV racing because the ATVA doesn't have to deal with street and dirt bike events as well.

At Loretta's I purchased a atva card to be able to race instead of the ama card I figured all the cash would go to promoting atv events and not bike and quads. I have a phone number for general info 1-614-856-1900, membership info 1-866-atva-join. By the way the cost was $39.

Like the other person wrote the ATVA is a division of the AMA that is just devoted to atv's only. It has it own director(Doug Morris) ande he does not even own or ride any 2 wheel bikes. If you have a AMA card and it is going to expire have it changed over to the ATVA card. By doing this you will stop getting the AMA mag that you put in the trash unread and start getting a newsletter bymonthly just for ATV's. Both cards(AMA and ATVA) will be good at both events, but like he said the money will go into the ATVA operating acount, not the general AMA fund. The ATVA will be oversee all areas of the AMA the has anything to do with Quads. It was just started in March of this year and will take some time to get going at full steam.
