Castampe,
I am from Plymouth as well. Do you ride anywhere around the area? I have been trying to find a place to ride LEGALLY around the area. We go up north every other weekend to go ride in Mio, Grayling, Kalkaska, or Silver Lake. It would be great to be able to get out of work and go ride for an hour or two.

OBUD,
I HAVE A FEW FRIENDS THAT RIDE BEHIND THE HOME DEPOT AT 275 AND FORD ROAD. YOU JUST NEED TO STAY ON THE PROPERTY. WE ALSO GO UP TO MT. MORRIS, 1 EXIT NORTH OF FLINT. IT IS OK AS LONG AS YOU PASS THE dB TEST AND HAVE A SPARK ARRESTOR, OR A COMPLETLY STOCK MACHINE.
MY PARENTS HAVE A HOUSE IN HIGGINS LAKE WE GO UP AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE, WE RIDE MOST OF THE TIME AT ST. HELENS, THERE ARE SOME NICE TRAILS THERE.

castampe, how is the law around St. Helen? I rode there eight years ago and got a ticket for no spark arrestor. I have not been back because usually someone was not 100% legal. Now that we have switched back to quads we have thought about going back but we talked to a forest guy last year at bull gap and he said they are jerks over there. I know right now on my Z i am legal but my cousin's ex is to loud. I also ride with a banshee and he just bought the hush kit for that but i think he is still going to be to loud. I would like to ride there but i don't want a bunch of tickets.

redrider707,
I have not had the suzuki out on the track yet. I planned on going this past wednesday, but never got the quad set up with a kill switch in time. I did however go and watch others practice. I will forsure be out there to watch today, and will be ready to practice and race next week.

ltzless,
I have been riding at St. Helens for about 3 years now and have only seen 1 DNR officer. That was this past Memorial Day Weekend. All he did was wave to us, and I have a highly modified banshee, not legal at all. He was stopping other people, more trucks than anything. I love the trails, you get a little bit of everything there. Tight trails, open trials, sand hills, etc. etc. etc.
