How can I transport 3 quads in one truck?
#1
Kinda need help with this one.For starters I have a 3/4 ton longbed truck,I can get a 4x8 in the bed and shut the tailgate.I need to get a Kawasaki Mojave,aYamaha Blaster and a Honda 400 EX in it.
Cant put the Mojave on the grab bar,it has a 6-pac rack that sticks out too far,and all the oil runs into the airbox. It needs to stay on all 4.
The shop manual for the blaster says not to put it on its grab bar,you could get air bubbles in the oil injector which would damage the motor.
Looks like I can store the 400Ex on its grab bar though.
Any ideas besides a trailer?

its possible, my friends done it with a 400ex, blaster, z-400, they said that they had a hard time driving and taking off. i think they stood two streight up and down and left the talegate down and left the last 1 hanging off the back and strapped it down real good. i have a smaller truck and to fit a banshee and a rapter in it . we stood the rapter up and jacked the front of mine up (remember every inch counts) u will be able to do it it just might take a while. load up the night before it took them like 2 hours. they tried a lot of different ways but that one worked the best.
how long are u traveling for, i brought my freind on his blaster for like a 2 hour trip and it was fine. if u are so worried about it i would let i sit on all 4 for a little bit before riding/ like bounce it up and down to pop the air bubbles or somthing i really never had a problem.

Try www.atvpickupcaddy.com, as they sell a aluminum rack that allows you to carry 2 quads on top of the bed. Then get the lightest quad on a hitch-n-haul (that holds 600 lbs). Or look in the back of some of the quad mags for a company that sells a rack that slides into your hitch that pivots to let you load that 3 quad by driving up onto it. But you would have to have a truck that could carry the combined weight of the 3 quads and the rack system. For 3 bikes, you may be better off getting a trailer that will hold all 3.
