I wish!
Actually, it is fairly inexpensive to camp!
Cheaper than a mortgage, two car payments, etc...
The rig is paid for..

If I were to spend every weekend riding for the rest of my life I doubt I would be able to ride every trail in my own state let a lone riding in the other 49 states. Good Luck on your journey.

Every trail in every state!!!! That would truly be a gift from above!
I hope to hit 1% of each state.
I have done a smaller loop in the past (26 states), without quads (5 months).
We would have seen 10,000% more had we had something to wander off on.
Is anyone interested in joining us,,,for a specific leg of the journey.
Keep it in mind.
The Journey starts in May-June 2003.
Departing Seattle, on ferry up the inside passage, then back down the Alcan,,,,,,slowly.
Anyone, anyone, anyone, for leg 1????

Bing, if you have internet access while you're on the road you can post your upcoming destinations ahead of time and people can meet up with you and show you around. Sounds like a fun adventure.

Thanks Wyo!
I really want to post daily while on the road.
We met a fella from Houston, Texas on our last trip. He was doin the US perimeter tour (on Bicycle). We met him in Erie PA. (1/3 of the way) He owned a bike shop in Texas.
Everyday he called his wife, she recorded the conversation, and the son posted the website. This is probrably the way I would prefer to do it.
If anyone has any suggestions, please chime in.
