Thanks for all the good input. I think I will stay with the full face helmet, but I am going to try a street oriented helment with a face sheild to get that instant venting. The only thing that concerns me is not having a visor to block the sun on those west bound trials late in the afternoon (although this is probably a minor inconvience). I am convinced that the full face is the only way to go.
