I would suggest doing a search on google.com This can be done but I don't have a clue what you would have to purchase.
You would need some type of card installed to capture the video.

Do you have a video capture card in your computer? Look on the back where your monitor plugs in and see if you see any other ports right next to it that say video in, or a/v in.

You may already have one...A video card with "video in" capability. I described what to look for above. Otherwise there are a couple of alternatives...you can go out and buy a Video capture card with video in, or there is another system that uses some sort of external box...can't remember the name of it right now though. Check out www.vcdhelp.com for some more info either way.

Dazzle Multimedia makes software and a unit that you can download video through a USB port. You can edit your video, save it to disc, and upload it back onto a VHS tape. I have the digital video editing software package. You can buy it on-line or at BEST BUY or similar stores. I think my package cost right around $200 or something like that. Just make sure you have a fairly fast processor, a lot of memory and a large hard drive or you may have problems with your computer freezing. Video tends to be a real memory and space HOG!
Do a GOOGLE search for DAZZLE MULTIMEDIA to see if this is what you're looking for!!!!
